Saddle Up Partners!!http://por.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/83Saddle Up Partners!!<p>​The Scholastic book fair begins tomorrow.  The book fair will be open Thursday from 9am - 9pm, Friday from 9am - 12pm and Monday from 9am - 4pm.  Mosey on in  for a little visit partners!  </p>

Please contact Mr. Prouty in the office if you can help us. Without the volunteers, we are unable to offer these programs.</p>
Remembrance Dayhttp://por.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/85Remembrance Day<p>​Two Remembrance Day assemblies will take place at Portage View on Friday, November 10th.  An assembly for our primary students will take place in the morning followed by an assembly for our grade 4 to 8 students beginning at 11:40.  </p><p>Parents and guardians are welcome to attend these assemblies.  </p>
Author Visit Monday, October 16thhttp://por.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/81Author Visit Monday, October 16th<p>​Tomorrow afternoon, Portage View has the privilege of hosting author <a href="http://www.scrimger.ca/home.htm">Richard Scrimger</a>.  He will be speaking to our junior and intermediate students about being an author and the art of writing.   Then, at 7 pm families are invited back to school for an evening presentation, meet and greet and book signing with FOUR entertaining and talented authors.  We are excited to be hosting <a href="http://www.natashadeen.com/">Natasha Deen,</a> <a href="http://tedstauntonbooks.com/">Ted Staunton,</a> <a href="http://sigmundbrouwer.com/">Sigmund Brouwer</a> and <a href="http://www.scrimger.ca/">Richard Scrimger</a>.  </p><p>Books will be available for sale at both events.  See you tomorrow!</p>

This is an opportunity to meet the teachers and discover all the great things Innisdale has to offer! Light refreshments will be provided.</span></font></p><p>​</p>
